- €90,000 – €100,000 base bonus
The role:
You will lead the design and build of a new multi-cloud Kubernetes platform supporting mission-critical managed services and healthcare products.
This is a hands-on architecture role sitting between senior leadership and a team of Kubernetes Engineers. You will define the platform approach, set technical direction, and support the engineers delivering it.
You will play a key role in a wider move from on-prem infrastructure to a cloud-native model across AWS, Azure and GCP.
Non-Negotiables:
- Kubernetes architecture in large-scale production environments
- AWS, Azure and/or GCP platform engineering
- Multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud platform design
- Strong infrastructure or platform engineering background
- Experience leading or mentoring engineers
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Helm
- Strong understanding of networking, security and observability in Kubernetes
- Background in complex, enterprise environments
- Ability to stay hands-on whilst leading technical direction

Core Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture and design of a multi-cloud Kubernetes platform
- Set standards for scalability, resilience, security and automation
- Support and guide a team of Kubernetes Engineers
- Act as the senior technical point of contact for platform decisions
- Work closely with leadership on platform strategy and delivery
- Drive best practice across platform engineering, DevOps and SRE
- Troubleshoot complex platform and cluster issues
- Define infrastructure as code and deployment standards
- Help shape the long-term cloud-native roadmap
- Support the build-out of a new engineering function in Ireland
