- €120,000 – €130,000 base bonus
The role:
You will lead the build and operation of a new cloud-native managed services platform, driving the shift from on-prem infrastructure to a multi-cloud environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will combine platform ownership, team leadership and technical direction. You will work closely with senior leadership to turn strategy into delivery across AWS, Azure and GCP.
You will also play a key role in establishing the Dublin hub, helping scale the team and define how the platform is delivered globally.
Non-Negotiables:
- Kubernetes platform leadership (enterprise or SaaS scale)
- AWS, Azure or GCP architecture experience (multi-cloud preferred)
- Platform engineering or SRE leadership background
- Infrastructure as Code and automation (Terraform, Helm, GitOps)
- Experience leading distributed engineering or operations teams
- Managed services / MSP or complex enterprise infrastructure experience
- Strong technical background (architecture delivery ownership)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication

Core Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and operation of a global cloud-native platform
- Own Kubernetes-based architecture across multi-cloud environments
- Build and lead platform and managed services teams
- Define Infrastructure as Code and automation standards
- Drive a platform engineering / SRE operating model
- Set reliability standards (SLOs, SLAs, monitoring, alerting)
- Improve observability, incident response and root cause analysis
- Partner with security and compliance teams on cloud standards
- Manage capacity, scalability and cloud cost optimisation
- Support the build-out of the Dublin engineering hub
Examples of the work:
- Moving a VMware/on-prem estate to cloud-native
- Building a multi-cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Standardising deployments using Terraform, Helm and GitOps
- Improving reliability across critical 24/7 environments
- Scaling a managed services platform from regional to global
