Our client is a globally recognised provider of price data, market intelligence, and insights across the commodities sector, supporting professionals in metals, agriculture, energy and more. With a reputation for trust and precision, their digital platforms are central to delivering real-time, high-quality information to their global audience.
We are looking for a skilled Web Developer to support the ongoing development and optimisation of a high-traffic corporate website. You’ll play a key role in building and maintaining a responsive, secure, and scalable platform that delivers a seamless user experience.
In this role, you’ll work closely with UX, content, and marketing teams to bring digital experiences to life, support conversion rate optimisation (CRO), and ensure technical SEO and website performance are top-notch. This is a hands-on role requiring both technical depth and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Skills Required
- Experience with web development
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks
- CMS platforms (ideally WordPress)
- Front-end best practices and responsive design
- Site performance optimisation and debugging tools
- SEO and implementation (e.g. schema markup, structured data)
- Web analytics and tracking tools (GA4, Google Tag Manager)
- Confident using project management tools such as JIRA
Desirable Skills
- Experience working on web security (patching, monitoring, compliance)
- Understanding of accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG)
- Background supporting A/B testing or CRO experiments
- Knowledge of Core Web Vitals and how to improve them
- Experience working with external vendors and digital agencies
Projects You’ll Work On
- Developing new website features and interactive components
- Supporting the echnical implementation of UX and CRO enhancements
- Optimising front-end performance and mobile experience
- Ensuring website security, uptime, and data protection compliance
- Improving Core Web Vitals and SEO technical health
- Collaborating with design, marketing, editorial and product teams
- Enabling analytics and supporting web experimentation workflows
- Managing website development workflows in JIRA
