Release Manager / QA Engineer | CI/CD, Software Development | Real-Time Financial Data Platform

Our client is hiring a hands-on Release Manager with QA engineering experience to join a high-performance team building the next-gen, cloud-native market data platform that delivers real-time financial information to clients around the world.
This is not a coordination-only role, you’ll be actively involved in release planning, test execution, and CI/CD pipeline management. You’ll work closely with engineering leads, DevOps, product teams, and a senior UK-based Release Manager to deliver clean, reliable software into production environments. A deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and how to support it with repeatable, high-integrity release processes is essential.
What you’ll be doing:
- Owning release planning, deployment and QA across agile squads
- Writing and running tests with tools like Selenium, Cypress and Playwright
- Tracking release readiness in Jira, including roadmaps and Zephyr
- Managing CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions, Octopus, Jenkins or Azure DevOps
- Supporting global product teams in Brazil, working UK hours with occasional evening releases
- Collaborating daily with engineers, SREs and scrum masters
What we’re looking for:
- Strong hands-on release and QA experience
- Understanding of the full software development lifecycle
- Exposure to C# or Python, or Java
- Experience testing and shipping code in fast-moving agile teams
- Familiarity with infrastructure, deployment tools and Git-based workflows
- Ability to work with legacy code and under-tested systems
- Comfortable owning technical details and solving blockers fast
