DevOps Engineer | AWS | MedTech (Up to 40% Bonus)
We are working with a pioneering research and development company that uses cutting-edge technologies in the world of medicine as it aims to become the world's most productive drug discovery engine. The company has custom/complex scientific software on several AWS platforms. They are seeking a DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for the maintenance of the existing platforms and support the AWS environment so that it runs smoothly.
As well as their legacy platforms, they are keen to start rolling out a migration of their other platforms, so previous lift and shift experience from on-prem to AWS will go hand in hand on this one.
This is an exciting role with you being the first DevOps Engineer in the door, piecing together the DevOps culture as you work closely with the developers to bridge the gap. But don't worry you will be supported in your role by consultants on the migration project over to AWS.
This is a hybrid remote role with 2 days in the Euston office and 3 days working from home.
Technical Skills Required:
- AWS
- CloudFormation
- Configuration Management
- CI/CD
- Linux administration experience - Amazon Linux / Ubuntu
