My client is a leading provider of intelligence and data solutions for major players in the asset management industry. With over 600 employees, they are currently focusing on building out their tech and product offerings, going through a period of exponential growth.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll set the direction for cloud security and make it happen. Reporting directly to the VP of Cyber Security, you’ll have full ownership of AWS security what to implement, how to architect it, and doing the work yourself. It's your vision, your build, and your impact. This isn’t just a consultative position you’ll architect, build, and own every facet of their cloud security operations.
My client is looking for someone who has built and implemented security solutions, not just advised on them. You’ll work closely with DevOps, security, and leadership to shape cloud security strategy while staying deep in the technical details.

What You Need:
- Proven, hands-on AWS security expertise (IAM, Security Hub, GuardDuty, etc.).
- Experience with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Experience in designing and implementing secure architectures—not just advising on them.
- Hands-on experience with systems automation and deployment tools (e.g., Terraform, Jenkins).
- Strong understanding of compliance standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
- A track record of leading security initiatives with tangible, executable results.
What You’ll Do:
- Define & Implement: Develop and enforce comprehensive AWS security architectures, policies, and procedures.
- Hands-On Leadership: Not just a consultant - you’ll architect and execute, getting your hands dirty to build secure environments.
- Collaborate: Engage with DevOps, security teams, and C-suite leaders to seamlessly integrate robust security measures across their infrastructure.
- Automate & Innovate: Develop automated security processes, manage incidents, and proactively address vulnerabilities.
