Technical Support Engineer | Google Workspace OR O365, Mac, Windows | FinTech
My client, a dynamic and growing tech company, is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join their team. Their mission is to empower individuals by providing them with the tools they need to manage their finances and credit better. They have already helped over a million people achieve their financial goals, and they’re continually innovating to offer more.
Role: The current Technical Support Engineer is advancing within the company, creating an opportunity for a new team member. In this hands-on role, you will provide high-quality technical support in an agile and fast-paced environment. The company relies heavily on Google Workspace for user, group, device, and policy management. With no servers, our client hosts all of their applications in the cloud. This is a hybrid Mac and Windows desktop environment. Most desktop support issues are communicated and resolved through Slack, avoiding the need for a traditional ticketing system, which is used only for long-term projects or regulatory reasons. Building strong relationships and helping people is crucial as the IT team holds a good reputation within the company.
Location: You will be required to visit the office in Bristol once a week.

- Automating processes for machine shift-out.
- Building out proper inventories.
- Working with the Deputy CISO to maintain the Cyber Essentials Plus certification annually.

- 25 days holiday bank holidays, birthday off, and variable Christmas closure.
- Monthly socials and bi-annual company get togethers.
