Python Developer | Python & FastAPI | Founding Engineer in AI Venture Studio Building Creator-Led Products
You’ll join an early-stage AI venture studio as a Founding Engineer, working directly with the CTO inside a small, elite team building and launching creator-led B2C software businesses.
This is a backend-leaning (~80% backend) role where you’ll own core systems end-to-end, from shaping APIs and data models through to shipping, monitoring, and iterating in rapid cycles. You’ll have real autonomy, meaningful responsibility, and a direct line between what you build and real users from day one.

What They’re Looking For
You will have mid-to-senior backend engineering experience in production environments,
and bring a high-agency mindset to your work, naturally taking responsibility, making decisions, and acting like a founder rather than waiting for direction. Clear communication skills are a must, as well as an ability to operate in ambiguity.
Non-Negotiables
- Python - exceptional expertise
- FastAPI – or adjacent Python frameworks
- API design and backend architecture fundamentals
- PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB experience
- Strong React or React Native experience
- AWS serverless infrastructure and Docker experience for bespoke services
Nice to Haves
- B2C mobile app experience
- Node.js development alongside Python
- Vector databases, such as Chroma and embedding pipelines
- LangChain, CrewAI, or similar orchestration frameworks
- Practical security and data-privacy awareness
- Experience using Linear or similar planning tools
- Experience with Gemini and/or NanoBanana Pro or any other image modelling AI systems
- Experience with AI-assisted development using tools like Claude Code
Previous startup experience is ideal.
