We’re partnered with a global financial services firm (c.700 staff) who are expanding their US bank program. They are hiring a Business Analyst with payments and SWIFT expertise to support the design and delivery of a new Corporate & FI current account product.
This is a payments and product-focused role, working across SWIFT standards, client journeys, and UAT to ensure the new product is fully compliant and fit for market launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Define client journeys and requirements for Corporate & FI current accounts.
- Analyse outputs from core banking against SWIFT standards.
- Support development and validation of SWIFT payment message formats.
- Define and document user stories, acceptance criteria, and UAT test cases.
- Translate business value propositions into actionable requirements.
Non-Negotiables
- Direct experience with bespoke financial software.
- Financial services experience (banking, payments, liquidity, or transaction monitoring).
- Strong requirements/user story writing and UAT experience.
Desirable
- Hands-on SWIFT payments knowledge
- Core banking or RegTech exposure
- Understanding of compliance/governance frameworks in FS.
Tech Environment (awareness only, not hands-on):
C#.NET | Temenos | SWIFT messaging systems | Transaction monitoring systems | SQL | Jira | Confluence
