Test Manager | Implement Automation Process & People Management | SaaS Cloud Product
My client, who specialises in Data Visualisation is looking for a lively Test Engineering Lead to join their rapidly growing SaaS engineering team. Your role will be to work with the team on delivering state-of-the-art and cutting-edge solutions across a wide variety of requirements amongst clients. In this role, you will be responsible for testing plugins capable of pulling data from multiple diverse systems into the client's cloud-native SaaS solution designed to be the single window giving complete visibility into all their tools. This will involve following CI/CD principles and testing new versions every day. You will keep customers in mind during every stage of the development lifecycle. Your role will be central to maintaining high product quality as part of the ongoing testing efforts through both automation and manual testing. 50% of the role will be hands-on manual and automation testing and 50% will be managing the team of five Testers and Developers.

This is a remote-first role, but our client has a GORGEOUS office in Maidenhead with a 'Silicon Valley feel'; pool tables, ping pong, free food etc. Their offices are a short walk from the train station and also have free parking.
Key Skills:
- Automation - our client uses Cypress and Pactum but any other automation tool exposure will be okay. You will be implementing automation process, tooling and adoption for your team as the processes are largely manual at the moment
- People management, conducting weekly 1-2-1s, hiring, career development
- Must be able to write Test scripts
- Experience with plugins to get data into a dashboard
- Frontend Software Development exposure and coding - ideally JavaScript but any development language of your choice
- Experience working with Rest APIs would be very useful
Nice to have:
- AWS-hosted Database and Cosmos DB exposure
- Some experience with CI/CD principles would be nice (our client uses Azure DevOps, but any experience is ok)
- Experience testing on SaaS platforms
