Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) | GCP/AWS | Market Intelligence Leaders
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join a global organisation involved in the market intelligence space. Our client's AI-powered platform provides businesses with world-class and real-time consumer analytics.
They are looking for a Senior SRE to work in their newly established London Development Centre, partnering with the Software Engineering team to help build and operate the next generation of infrastructure and products. The right person for the job will shine in a truly DevOps culture - working collaboratively across the full breadth of agile product delivery teams.
GCP will be used extensively in this role. Whilst it's absolutely fine to come from an AWS background, you must be happy and willing to work in what is a predominant GCP environment.
This is also a fantastic opportunity to work within a global environment as well as gain exposure to Kubernetes.
Whilst our client's offices are in London, they are offering remote-working options. You will be expected to go into the office once per week, but there is flexibility based on your location.
Essential skills:
- GCP (can come from an AWS background, but must be happy to work with GCP)
- IaC (Terraform)
- Linux Administration and Networking
- Containerisation (Docker OR Kubernetes)
- Configuration Management (Puppet or Ansible)
- Setting up CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or Gitlab)
Desirable skills, but not essential
- Programming experience (Python, Ruby, or Go)
- Big data technologies (Hadoop etc.)
- Data streaming (Kafka etc.)
