My client is a renowned global FinTech that, over the last two decades, has earned a reputation for reliability, innovation, and customer-focused service.
With a strong presence in key financial hubs across the globe, including Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, my client serves over 2 million customers in over 100 countries. Their platform offers a wide array of trading products, from forex and commodities to indices and cryptocurrencies, catering to novice and experienced traders.
We are looking for a seasoned security architect to take charge of safeguarding our client’s digital assets. This is a critical role where you’ll protect systems, data, and financial ecosystems while collaborating with teams to champion security across all levels of development. Your focus will be on embedding a "security-first" mindset, driving robust security practices, and ensuring that all systems are resilient to emerging threats.
My client operates a hybrid working structure and would expect you to be in their Reading office twice a week.
What you will do:
- Champion security in development workflows, ensuring a security-first approach across all projects and teams.
- Integrate security measures into the CI/CD pipeline, streamlining security as part of development.
- Oversee comprehensive security assessments for new and updated platforms, applications, and systems. Ensure systems are rock solid.
- Protect the integrity of payment systems/financial systems and client transactions by maintaining a strong security framework.
- Monitor evolving security threats and emerging technologies to ensure continuous improvement of security protocols.
What you will bring:
- 10 years in information security, particularly in cloud security, security architecture, and DevSecOps.
- Expertise in designing secure architectures for large-scale cloud-native applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Deep understanding of security best practices across various layers and expertise in securing
- Advanced coding skills and experience in automating security processes.
