Senior DevOps Engineer | GCP & Linux | Crypto Software Vendor
This is a unique role to work for a FinTech that is building the leading institutional trading platform for investment in the cryptocurrency space. This is a software engineering organisation as opposed to a crypto trading company and the organisation is backed by one of the largest UK hedge funds and two multi-national banks. You will be working for the market-leading software vendor that banks and trading houses use to buy and sell crypto globally.
You will be joining an established engineering team in a company of circa 100 employees. Our client's offices are based in Euston and they have a hybrid working arrangement where it is essential that you are in the office 3 days a week. You can choose which days you work in the office, however. It will also be likely that this requirement will be more relaxed in the future after their major project has been completed towards the end of this summer.
Non-negotiable skills required:
- GCP cloud - MUST have GCP, other providers not accepted
- Linux engineering - very solid experience is ESSENTIAL
- CI/CD vendor experience and concepts
- Terraform or other IaC tooling experience
Other bits of interest:
- Kubernetes - Our client uses K8s but it's not a pre-requisite that you have experience
- Networking technologies (DNS, Firewalls, Load Balancers VPNs routings).
- Cyber security and cryptography.
