Oracle Financial Consultant / Pre-Sales Consultant | Oracle Apps DBA OR SAP Basis | Financials
I am recruiting an Oracle Financial Consultant / Oracle Apps DBA OR SAP Basis Pre-Sales consultant to join a cloud consultancy who are expert in migrations in this space.
Essential for success in this role will be for you to have experience in setting up or migration experience of Oracle / SAP Financials. i.e. General Ledger, Payables etc. OR SAP Basis and ideally DBA.
You will be fulfilling pre-sales / tech architect duties and this is a super client-facing role.
You will typically be presented to clients who have either Oracle Financials or SAP financial products and are looking to migrate their application suite into new environments typically hosted inside AWS or Azure. Our client deals with enterprise customers in the retail, pharma, logistics and hospitality sectors.
Have you helped guide businesses through configuring their Oracle/SAP Financial applications with all the external interfaces and how to set up remote copy, encryption etc? Have you helped companies through general ledger implementations? If the answer is yes I want to hear from you!

What you will be doing:
You will work closely with sales consultants on client engagement, solution design, and guiding customers and prospects with architectural advice and thought leadership.
We are looking for someone to drive cloud innovation, support sales opportunities with customers, transform IT landscapes and accelerate their journey to the cloud.
With a warm client base, we are looking for someone to advance and scale the business to the next level.
With clients typically using Oracle software applications hosted on-prem servers you will use your technical expertise to advise them on migrating over to the cloud i.e.: AWS or Azure
Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) is the primary software of interest that will be moved into AWS or Azure
What you’ll bring:

- Strong verbal and written skills
It would be great if you had:
- At least 2 years of pre-sales experience
- Good knowledge of Oracle, AWS and/or Azure
- Have a deep understanding of Cloud Hosting
- Ability to architect bespoke solutions based on specific customer requirements.
Employment Type: Contract
Location: Remote Some travel to Dubai / Saudi (travel and accommodation all paid)
Contract Day Rate : £500 per day outside IR35
