** This is a fully remote role **
We have a very exciting opportunity with one of our clients who have created a centralised DevOps function in the parent group company's HQ. Feeding into this group company are 5 subsidiary marketing tech organisations.
This is a new role with our client and would suit someone from a solid Linux engineering background who wants to gain exposure to AWS & GCP. You'll also have the opportunity to travel to their Netherlands office.
There is a need to help the TechOps engineers of our client's entities as well as work on central group-wide projects. This role will require an experienced engineer who can help troubleshoot unfamiliar platforms and research and develop new solutions for the group.
Essential:
- Linux - Essential you have solid commercial Linux engineering experience
- VMWare, Promox or any other virtualisation tools will be okay
- Platform Migration
- Networking
- Database scripting
- Automation
Desirable Skills / Technologies You Will Gain Exposure To:
- AWS & GCP - you will gain exposure if you don't have experience already
- Kubernetes
- Windows
- Jira
