Lead DevOps Engineer | Azure or AWS & CI/CD | Innovative Start-Up
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead/Senior DevOps Engineer to join a dynamic start-up whose data modelling platform helps companies to centralise all of their analytics and data in one concise database. As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will lead and advise CI/CD practices carried out by a team of two with the intention of improving and maintaining databases (primarily in SQL).
Due to commercial reasons, our client has shifted between all three of the major public cloud providers, which means that their toolset is diverse and includes the likes of Python, Typescript, Azure DevOps and Kubernetes. Because of this complex infrastructure, you will need to be proactive, creative and precise as you bring forward an analytical approach to problem solve, enhance efficiency and define and implement DevOps best practices.
There are currently 54 people in the business, and they have an office in London, where they assemble twice a week to share ideas and maximise efficiency. This is therefore a hybrid remote role (with 2 days per week in the client's Monument office). As this is a lead position, you will be mentoring and managing a team of two DevOps engineers.
Essential:
- Cloud (AWS / Azure)
- CI/CD best practice
- SQL / PostgreSQL or Experience with database development
