Lead Developer | PHP, Laravel or AWS | SaaS FinTech
This is a brilliant opportunity for you to join a rapidly growing FinTech that is serious about utilising the best technology on the market and implementing it through Architecture, Design and Approach. You will work closely alongside 30 Developers and QA Engineers that make up the tech team.
In this role, you will be 60% hands-on with the tech and architecture and 40% leading the team. You will be leading the team in conjunction with another lead as your counterpart, who between you, will be leading eight Developers, two QAs and a Product Owner.
The team you will be leading will be a VIP development team within the business. The other teams follow SCRUM but you will be KANBAN orientated as your team will be working on faster releases than the others. Your team is too fast to do 2-week sprints! Most of what your team do are experiments which produce ideas taken from all departments and implement the results of the experiments into the product.

Our client has a new office in Bristol and it's expected that you will travel to the Bristol HQ once a week.
Essential:
- 5-10 years experience as a Lead Full-Stack Developer
- PHP
- JavaScript
- Laravel Framework 7/8
- AWS
Desirable:
- Kanban methodology
- TypeScript, React JS or React Native
