This is one of those *awesome* opportunities! Our client, a Virtual Ward company, provides patients and clinicians with the transformative power of remote patient monitoring and is looking to move away from off-the-shelf products to new and innovative mobile apps, clinical dashboards, a remote patient monitoring platform and a Backend that takes measurements.


They are a growth stage start-up that is a revenue generating company with big aims and lots of momentum and you will join them at a key stage of their rapid growth.


The client is looking for a hands-on IT Ops Support individual who will be taking responsibility and ownership of tech, SaaS software, systems, onboarding and security. This is a rapidly growing company where this role could develop into a more formal Operations Manager position in the future for the right candidate. This is because the company will be growing and there is potential to hire more into your team. The company are two years old, have 1,000 customers (patients) and employs 30 people.


Experience that will be most useful for success in the role:

  • MDM (Mobile Device Management) for Windows and Mac (Our client uses Miradore)
  • Compliance and Security experience i.e. with ISO27001 and ISO13485 and GDPR would be great as our client is going to become Cyber Essentials accredited along with other security accreditations to be approved to work with the NHS.
  • Asset Management software and process experience (our client use Reftab)
  • Write scripts to automate Mac updates. Jamf experience or similar could be helpful
  • Healthcare or NHS experience/familiarity will be a huge advantage but not essential


Responsibilities in this role:

  • Managing the assets and tracking them
  • Establishing Single Sign On (SSO) processes
  • New Security setup compliance, accreditation and compliance setup
  • Managing O365 and G Suite platforms for the employees
  • Onboarding logistics and establishing the onboarding process for the organisation - homogenisation of systems, processes, tools etc
  • Tech support for in-house staff and including non-technical people i.e. nurses
  • Infrastructure refurbishment
  • Remote device management
  • Information security and training and security
  • Cyber essentials accreditation implementation
  • Data protection security kit (for NHS)
  • License management for SaaS products
