Infrastructure Engineer | Windows, AWS, Okta | World-Leading TV Production

My client is a world-leading independent production and distribution group that produces some of the most popular TV programmes in the world. They are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer who will support 30 internal companies with approximately 1,500 users with general setup and daily 3rd-line support. The Infrastructure Engineer will operate in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment with a team of 3 senior engineers. You will be the IT Manager’s right-hand person, working on some of the most exciting projects and tackling the 3rd line issues.
A bit of a unique opportunity here! You will be at the hub of all new projects and future migrations from on-prem Windows Servers to what is becoming a larger AWS environment. This a fantastic role where you will gain some exposure to AWS and DevOps toolsets.
You will be working for a fun organisation, diversity-focused and dress-down culture based in the Holborn / Tottenham Court Road location. The role is hybrid remote with minimal in-office requirement, currently every Tuesday. There are 1,400 permanent employees across 30 circa operational companies within the group. In addition, a similar number of freelancers work with the group, so circa 3,000 people in total. A separate team manages users' daily support, allowing you and your teammates the freedom to work on 3rd-line projects.
Non-negotiable skills required for the role:
- Windows Server (2012 – 2019)
- Scripting (Terraform or PowerShell)
- Office 365
- AWS or Okta
It’s a modern environment here with most of the infrastructure (80 Windows Servers) being hosted in AWS controlled with Terraform. So a great chance to get further into cloud infrastructure.
It will be your responsibility to come up with the ideas and implement future projects:
- On-prem Windows to AWS migrations
- Automation projects, working on implementing Okta and Okta Workflows
- Windows projects, upgrading from 2012 to 2019
- Network refresh, nothing on-prem, SaaS for firewalls
- Okta integrations
- Migrate payroll system into AWS
