DevOps Engineer | AWS & Terraform | Cool Software House With Enterprise-Sized Clients
Great opportunity here to work for a company that is a major player in the tech development and consulting industry. Our client has been in operation for six years now and already boasts 100 employees across the business. They are a remote-first company, with offices in London, Romania and India. The company is working with numerous renowned enterprise clients as well as the public sector. You will be part of a team of six other DevOps Engineers, working on client engagements that usually last between 6 months and 2 years, after which you will move on to the next.
Key points with this role:
- Ability to be SC Cleared. i.e. our client will put you through the SC clearance process but to pass you must have been a resident in the UK for 5 years with no more than 6 months in one consecutive period being outside of the UK.
- Solid AWS experience is essential.
- Must be able to start immediately (massively preferred)
- 100% remote in the UK (option to go into the London office if you like).
You will be building and maintaining one of our client's public sector customer's AWS infrastructure.
Non-negotiables for success in this role:
- AWS, AWS, AWS - Very solid ecosystem management.
- IaC experience with Terraform, CloudFormation etc.
- Experience with Continuous Integration practices i.e. Ansible or other tools.
- Linux experience and background.
- Programming experience in or around Python or Perl would be great.
Technologies you will gain exposure to / nice to haves:
- Experience with orchestration tooling like Kubernetes or Docker Swarm
- Logging technologies like ELK Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Agile/Scrum team experience is always nice. A proven team player mentality.
