Senior DevOps Engineer (Contract) | AWS & Kubernetes | MedTech
Contract Overview:
- Outside IR35
- 100% remote in the UK
- 6-month initial contract - 2yr programme
- AWS environment - rolling out Kubernetes clusters
- £550 p/d circa
This is an opportunity for an experienced DevOps Engineer to jump into a two-year project with a MedTech company working on AWS & Kubernetes.
My client's product is used by the biggest private and public pharmaceutical companies and uses chatbots & AI to interact with users.
You will be working alongside the Production Operations Director, external infrastructure consultants, hosting companies and a multi-disciplinary team of developers, designers, analysts and architects to design and evolve new and existing services and infrastructure via AWS.
Huge projects are commencing this year, including the incorporation of Kubernetes into their infrastructure.
Essential Skills:
- AWS
- Kubernetes
Desirable:
- Ruby, Scala, Python (programming language)
- Open-Source tools (e.g. Spark, Elasticsearch)
- Cloud vendor-provided tools (e.g. Amazon S3)
