I have teamed up with one of the UK's leading independent providers of discretionary wealth management services on their search for an experienced Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer. You will join the Technology team in a permanent role in the UK, providing technical expertise across a wide range of modern IT platforms and services, supporting the aims and objectives of the overall Technology function.
The role will contribute to the Infrastructure Engineering team's maturing responsibilities for the development and management of their 'infrastructure-as-code'-focused automation services, concentrating on the use of agile tools such as Terraform, Packer, PowerShell and Azure DevOps within their (on-premises) and Azure (public cloud) hosting environments to build and maintain critical business services including Brewin's growing digital services estate.
This is an opportunity to work within a small team of highly skilled infrastructure engineering and automation specialists, bringing the benefit of your broad base of infrastructure operations knowledge and using your engineering/automation experience to help design, implement and support the modern IT services required by the client's growth ambitions.
This role requires someone who is passionate about the possibility's infrastructure automation brings, can focus on the rapid delivery of improvement but that also has the clarity of thought to ensure solutions are built to a high quality and will stand the test of time. You'll have the chance to learn and develop and grow your career alongside passionate Techies.
Essential skills:
- Public Cloud - our client use Azure but it you have experience of AWS or GCP and are happy in moving to an Azure environment this is ok
- CI/CD or IaC experience
