Our client is a fast-growing Banking-as-a-Service FinTech that empowers banks and large corporates to innovate at speed and deliver market-leading digital banking & embedded financial services.
They are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Engineer who can take control of their entire cloud native Azure estate after a successful cloud audit from an external contractor. This role involves taking control of the cloud estate, implementing cost optimisation procedures, disaster recovery, building out infrastructure into a new region and contributing to Azure cloud architecture.
In short, this client is looking for a senior Azure cloud engineer who can come in, make a huge difference in the cloud estate and shape its future. There will be lots of autonomy in this role! Additionally, this company is growing and there will be opportunities to head up the cloud estate/team within 12 months.
Key requirements:
- Azure Cloud
- IaC - ARM Templates/Bicep (small amount of Terraform kicking about)
- Azure cloud architecture
- Azure native SRE stack - Azure Apps Insights & Azure Log Analytics
